Review of March 26th Gig featuring performances by participants at Inclusive Rock School!

Were you there on the morning of 26th? If so – you know what I’m talking about when I say that this was a truly moving experience. The audience were treated to some fabulous performances by: Mercedes, Ashley, John, Jack, Frederick, Kurtis, Jonny, Ewan, Frank, Mark and Michael.

My particular favourites were “Blue Moon” and the Rap impro as both these numbers demonstrated excellent performance skills.

Many thanks to staff at Applefields and Manor Academy (the Satellite Group) who helped make this gig happen!

If you weren’t there on the morning of the 26th, you missed a treat – something a bit out of the usual, something to make you stop and think about the nature of disability/ability and the artificial ceiling sometimes placed in the way of a person’s achievement – and above all, something that was thoroughly entertaining.
