Hip Hop Shake Up: The Story Continues

Many of you may already know about Hip Hop Shake Up. If you don't, it's a workshop we held on 27th October for participants at our inclusive clubs and classes. This day was jam packed full of creativity, talent and pure fun! The day resulted in two videos: one documentary of the day and one professional music video. The links to which are here:

The reception for these videos has been phenomenal! We got the video onto all our social media, attracting attention from many charities and associations related to disabilities. We had an article written by YorkMix, which if you haven't read, it's here: http://www.yorkmix.com/life/people/this-rap-video-by-young-people-with-learning-disabilities-will-make-your-day/ Thank you to YorkMix for writing this article.

Furthermore, Disabled World kindly shared our video on their website, the link to which is here: http://videos.disabled-world.com/video/707/challenging-stereotypes-of-disability

Additionally, The British Institute for Learning Disabilities mentioned us in their weekly newsletter, in the 'News in Brief' section. http://bildnews.org.uk/6N7-3SW4X-93N1G1XED/cr.aspx

Finally, we'd like to thank the People's Health Trust and The Conservation Volunteers for funding this video, and to Dan Stapylton for producing and filming the videos.

Thank you to everyone who has watched the videos and shared them, keep showing them to your friends, we want these young people to get the recognition they deserve.
