Launch of Musication-2, for 16-19* year olds

There are places available on our NEW PART-TIME COURSE IN POPULAR MUSIC- which runs Thursdays 12.30-3.15pm. The only entrance requirement is a passion for music …any style of popular music …. grime, metal, soul … anything! We cater for beginners up to experts.Priority is given to people who are disadvantaged in some way for example by homelessness, mental health difficulties, ex-offender, low qualifications, difficult life experiences, not being in college/work etc. This fabulous free course (thanks to York City Council's Yorpart funding!) offers opportunities to gain accreditation (Rock School level 1 or 2 awards), to enjoy making music with others (guitar/drums/bass/keys/vocals/beat-making etc), perform at our regular concerts, event manage, develop as an instrumentalist/vocalist, improve music-tech skills, improve employability through building up your skill set and demonstrating regular attendance.
