Wishing all our members, and supporters a very Happy Christmas !

What a HUGE term we have just had! In our comfortable new rooms in The Centre@Burnholme, with more people than ever coming along to SMART, and getting involved in music/art/drama/electronics - we have achieved some great things this term. Here are some of them:

* New drama group is now established led by Tom (we enjoyed the little play at last week's concert)

* We are pleased and proud with our work with a new customer, United Response, and have enjoyed our Wednesday morning sessions

* Our Community Engagement desk on a Wednesdays in collaboration with other organisations, and music in the cafe was new for September and has gone from strength to strength

* Tea Dance has become a thing - we held one at The Centre in October, have started to bring Tea Dance to other venues (with Ernest and Suzy) - and in addition, our Tea Dance Band start to hold dances from January in The Centre!

* More releases on our Musication record-label .... Introducing The Wolf, EXpress, and D,Ni.L's latest (due out on the 1st January) - Do You Know Who I am?

* A Fabulous and brilliantly attended Inclusive gig

* An end-of term gig for the adults who come to SMART!!!

There are new things planned for 2019 .. but I thought it worth documenting some of the new provisions for the previous term - all on top of our usual: SoundSMART, Inclusive Rock School, Art club, Safebase, coaching, Teen group, Satellite group, Danesgate group, Musication, electronics workshop ....

I would like to finish by thanking the amazing SMART team, all of whom bring something unique to our offer, and who all in their own ways contribute so massively to our work. A HUGE thanks however must go to YOU! Our people ... who support our ventures, who give us appreciation in person and social media, and who produce such cool music and art with us! RESPECT to you all, much love, and have a wonderful Christmas season.
